Wild camping on the Matterhorn trek?

Hello,

I am planning to do the matterhorn trek with a friend. We want to wildcamp, because the huts are too expensive for us. Is this possible on this route or is it forbidden? I know that it's illegal to wildcamp in Zermatt, but I don't know where these rules stop and end exactly. Wild camping in Zermatt is completely forbidden I am afraid.
There are location differences, where wild camping is allowed in Switzerland, more details in the link below. However in your case, you are not allowed to.
