About the trail

The Gebidum Pass is located at an altitude of 2,200 m and can only be reached on foot. It's a starting point for long trails to the Simplon Pass and other destinations. However, a short round trip starting at Giw is possible as well. The suggested route first leads you to a lake on the pass, and then returns to the starting point through forests and meadows. There are views of the Bider glacier, the Ried glacier, the Dom and the Bietschhorn. The town of Visp can be seen way down in the valley.
