About the trail

The Lötschen valley is a long side-valley of the Rhône valley. A good starting point for hikes is Fafleralp, at the end of the valley. From here you can walk to the Lang glacier. Information boards along the path explain how this alpine landscape was formed.

The hike can be extended by another 1h15 if you continue on to the Anen hut to have lunch or spend the night.
