About the trail
This trail covers the northeastern part of the Lötschentaler Höhenweg, a magnificent panoramic trail on the slopes of the Lötschen valley. You will gradually descend from Lauchernalp to Fafleralp, the hindmost settlement in the valley. You will particularly cross meadows and forests. At first, there are many views of the Lang glacier. The rest of the trail runs through forests, and passes by the small lake called Schwarzsee.
