Pfingstegg is accessible by cable car from the valley station in the town of Grindelwald. The valley station is at a 20-minute walk from the railway station, and can also be reached by bus or car.
From the railway station of Grindelwald to the Pfingstegg valley station
You’ll first have to travel to the railway station of Grindelwald. From there, you can walk through the town along the main street, until you reach the valley station in 15 to 20 minutes.
Alternatively, you can catch a bus to 'Grindelwald, Pfingsteggbahn'.
Arrival by car
You can get to the valley station of Pfingstegg by car as well, but parking options are limited. You may have to find a space on other parking lots in Grindelwald.
It’s even better to leave your car at the railway station of Interlaken Ost, allowing you to explore Pfingstegg, Grindelwald and the rest of the Jungfrau region by public transportation.
Dates of operation
Pfingstegg is accessible from spring to fall. Planned opening dates for 2023 are 13 May to 15 October. These dates can change due to weather circumstances. The toboggan run and Fly Line can also be closed in bad weather.
